University Hospitals Sports Medicine Creative Direction

University Hospitals manages a variety of service lines, one being UH Sports Medicine. I had the honor of constructing marketing creative that represented our partnerships with sponsors. Two of the partnerships that I regularly worked with were the Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Monsters. My objective was to create a cohesive art direction that not only represented the UH brand standards but also was engaging and aligned with our partnership’s standards. This included advertising in the following categories: Display, Social Media, Exhibition, Print and Animation.

Research
Going into this project I researched professional sports teams from the NFL, NHL, and athletic companies such as Nike. I noticed similarities in some of their marketing, bright gradients, sports imagery, or the use of background imagery that tied each creative direction together. This is what influenced me to experiment around with gradients and line art that would kick off the UH Sports aesthetic.
